Morgan was issued as a special 45 rpm “stereo single” in October 1958. Beginning with Morgan’s single releases for MGM records in January 1959, all of her single recordings would only be available as 45 rpm singles as the market for 78 rpm’s had virtually ended by the close of 1958. Her very first MGM single release, “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” was however issued as both a 45 rpm and available as a
78 rpm record in select markets such as Canada.)
